This quote means that if you are good you will be able to recreate yourself. For example if you were a bad person in the past you can change that. All you have to do is be good. Do things that will show that you care and that will also show that you are a good person. You can donate to the poor,maybe help an elderly woman cross the road.By doing all of this you can be seen as a person that cares, someone who is willing to help. Another example is if you find something like a wallet and you know who it came from, return it. You don't know if he had something important in there other than money. He might have needed it for medication for hi son. Don't expect anything in return. Being a good person is always right and you should always do it. you should always choose the right thing to do.

William Penn means that even if every one is doing something that they shouldn't be doing it doesn't mean that you should do it because it is still wrong no matter how many people are doing it. Also you should always do the right thing even if every one wants to do the wrong thing. you should stand up for what is right not what is wrong. One example of this is if you are at a party and every one is smoking and drinking you shouldn't  do it even if every one else is doing it. you should stand up for yourself and even get friends to stand with you and not smoke nor drink. Or maybe even leave the party. Even if it makes you a pariah. You shouldn't be ashamed of choosing the right decision over the wrong. After all you wont be the one getting in trouble or going to jail. Another example is if your friends invite you somewhere but they start causing trouble and wreckage you should choose the right and leave. You should also try and stop them and tell them they shouldn't do that.
