Tell the truth.

Eight reasons to tell the truth                             Barbara A. Lewis

  • Telling the truth lets every one know what really happened. There's less chance of misunderstanding. confusion, or conflict
  • Telling the truth protects innocent people from being blamed or punished
  • Telling the truth allows everyone to learn from what happened
  • you usually get into less trouble for telling the truth other than for lying
  • Other people trust you more when you tell the truth
  • You don't have to (And remember) more lies to keep your story straight.
  • You gain a reputation for being truthful- a trait most people value.
  • Telling the truth helps you to feel secure and peaceful inside.
What this quote means is that telling the truth is always the best thing to do. No matter what the situation is you should always tell the truth. You will get something better out of telling the truth than a lie. When you tell the truth Most people can then trust for almost anything they need. When you are in trouble its best to tell the truth. This is because if you don;t you will get in even more trouble. You broke a chair, just tell the truth. It was an accident they can probably fix it. Telling the truth can mislead into think that something happened when it didn't really happen. Problems can be  prevented if you tell the truth. Choose the right and tell the truth because sometimes if not all the times it helps you .

LIE

"When you tell one lie, it leads to another."

When you get in trouble and they ask what you did , most people lie. This isn't the best thing to do. This is because when you tell a lie you will eventually have to tell another lie to cover that up then another one. It is better to just tell the truth in the beginning. It will not only get you in less trouble it will also save you from having to think of a lie to come up with one after another. An example of this quote would be if you broke a window. The owner knows it was you because he saw you. Therefore he asks you why did you do it. You might say you didn't do and wont stop saying that until  he believes you. When you see that he wont believe you you will come up with another lie. Like it was my brother or he did it. You may even say there was a bug and i tried to kill it and the window broke. All of these lies will start to sum up . However if you just tell the truth and say you're sorry it will be easier. Having to tell a lie means that you have to remember every thing you said so that later on it will still make sense. However if you tell the truth you wont have to remember anything.
