what this quote means is that you cant expect to have freedom and independence if you do things that are wrong. That will only lead you to a long miserable life. You may even end up in jail. If you do what is right and choose the right you wont end up in jail. In fact you will live a long happy life. In a warm house with a lovely familly even. You will have the freedom you desire and the independence aswell.  for example I f you rob a store because you really wanted something will get caught. People will never see you the same way. However if you wait untill you have the money to buy it and then get it you will walk away with not a single worry. People will now know you arent a bad person. Freedom depend on how you act.

The ones who do cheat and don't play fair are truly bad. No one likes a cheater, because they always win. However everyone likes winners. Because they don’t cheat to win. They work hard every second of their life. People admire others who don't cheat, they see them as great people. However people that cheat are seen as garbage. No one what’s to be seen with a cheater. However it’s a different story for those that don't cheat.

What this quote means is that, Short term gain isn't worth the long term pain. Cheating isn't worth doing. This is because if you cheat the win doesn't really count. It is a fake win not a deserved win. Cheaters win because they cheat in order to do so. They use strategies or other stuff that will help them win. However the thing they use aren’t allowed. If you worked extremely hard for something and you lost against someone who didn't work as hard then how would it feel. Cheaters don't have to work as hard as you do.If you work hard you deserve the win , not the other person.

Although some find it funny another may not so be careful with who you prank and how because someone can get hurt if you go too far.
